The MCR, or Middle Common Room, refers to your College postgraduate community and physical space. The MCR, in all its capacities, exists to provide you with support and with a welcoming environment to offer respite from the stresses of studying at the University; the MCR works hard to ensure you always feel welcomed and at home.

With over 400 members from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities, the St Hugh’s MCR is one of the University’s largest. We are widely known as a friendly, social group, and host frequent events throughout the year.

The MCR Committee is your bridge between the College and the graduate student body. Please feel free to reach out to any Committee member with questions, concerns, or suggestions at any time.
